Rated 1 out of 5 by Steph C from Terrible I bought this fridge in April, and have had nothing but issues. Have already had a repair tech out to replace a fan due to incorrect installation. The fridge constantly freezes in the crisper and bottom shelf, leading to large amounts of frost that needs to be cleared. Fridge is also incredibly noisy, leading me to think that the fan was not the only issue. Weak fridge seals mean only the slightest issue will cause the door to pop open. The freezer temperature control is also stuck, so I am unable to change the freezer temperature. I wish I had never wasted my money, and am advising friends and family to stay away from Kelvinator.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Tempe from Stopped Cooling Within 4 Months We had a glass shelved stainless steel bottom mount fridge for 11 years and decided to upgrade as an environmental initiative but we would not recommend this fridge. The wire shelves in the freezer and the simple streamlined aesthetic are positives for the design but the front surface of the stainless steel dents with the slightest touch and the glass shelves are weight sensitive. The fridge stopped cooling within 4 months of purchasing brand new and a fridge needs to be reliable for many years. The Kelvinator 453L has been a great disappointment and we would not recommend.

Then, we had a first breakdown 4 months later... the fan stopped working on a Saturday, customer service doesn't work on weekend, called them on monday, the person came to fix it on wednesday! All food wasted... 3 months later (yesterday)... same thing is happening... really unhappy with this fridge and kelvinator! Do not buy!

Kelvinator is a long standing solid brand and this fridge is perfect for our space, I particularly like the bottom mount and freezer drawers. Design of the fridge makes it easy to see everything in there. Great purchase.
